We have extensive agricultural experience in both East and West Africa, specifically in Ghana and Kenya. Our flagship ventures have focussed on the large scale production of cash crops, mainly stevia: the all-natural zero-calorie sweetener.

This venture delivered healthy returns both financially and socially. With the undertaking starting in 2014 (shortly after EU approval of stevia as a sweetener) we have played a key role in increasing stevias market share on the EU sweetener market – providing a healthier option to consumers. Our nucleus farm set-up in both Ghana and Kenya has also helped over 440 families secure a more stable and secure source of income.

We disposed of our interest in, mainly marketed under the brand name Stevia 1931, in Q4 2020.
